DD&A was contracted by Monterey County, Department of Public Works, to prepare the environmental documentation for the Arroyo Seco Road Bridge 311 Replacement Project.  Document preparation included a Natural Environment Study (NES) following specific CalTrans formatting requirements, as well as a Categorical Exemption for CEQA approval.

DD&A assisted the County in securing all relevant regulatory permits which included; a California Regional Water Quality Control Board Section 401 Water Quality Certification, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 Permit and a California Department of Fish and Wildlife Streamed Alteration Agreement.  As part of the regulatory permit and CEQA compliance DD&A prepared and implemented a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan (MMRP).  The MMRP included pre-, post- and construction phase monitoring, as well as construction staff environmental education seminars.
